At Awba ofemili the envoy visited St. Paul’s Catholic church, and St. Paul’s Anglican Church, while at Ugbene it was the Ugbene Women Organisation and at Ugbenu they visited the Catholic Women Organisation, Anglican women organisation and finally Ugbenu Women Organisation simultaneously.

The message was same and simple.
The trio of Most Distinguished Senator Iyom Uche Ekwunife, Chief Emeka Igwe and Hon John Nwokoye who are the candidates of the PDP for Senate Anambra Central, House of representatives Awka North and South and ASHA Awka North Constituency eulogised the women of the various communities, noting the fact that women are the fulcrum of any functional society.

While speaking at the various locations Etoo Dike hailed the women for exemplary roles as mothers and urged them to take a step further by instigating their spouses and wards to get actively involved in nation building by actively participating in electing credible leaders, for this is the only way by which true and good dividends of good governance can get to the grassroot.

The women while responding, respectively thanked their August visitors and reaffirmed their support for the trio, highlighting their antecedents as the reason for their support.
The speakers urged their fellow women to always ask other candidates who come to seek for their support what their antecedents are, and what they have been able to achieve for the people with the previous offices the held.
