2023: Jonathan Rosenthal Says It’s Never A Good Sign When A Candidate Has To Prove He Is Alive

Jonathan Rosenthal, the Africa editor for international news platform, The Economist, has reacted to All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, sharing a workout video to dispel rumor of death.

Tinubu had shared a video of him on a spin bike with the caption;

Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.

Reacting to this, Rosenthal stated that it is never a good sign in a presidential campaign when a candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive.

Quoting Tinubu’s workout video, he tweeted;
