The Secretary-General of the Youth Wing of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Mr Chukwuma Okpalaezukwu has called on Igbo youths to get their voter card to enable them vote in the 2023 general elections.
Mr Okpalaezeukwu who made the call while speaking to newsmen in Awka said that the time is now right for an individual who has attained the voting age to go and get the permanent voter card for active participation in next year’s general elections.
The Secretary-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing made it clear that it is only through voting and securing votes that Ndigbo will use to correct the serial injustice meted to them regretting that the two major political parties in the country have deliberately denied the South-East region their presidential tickets.
Mr Okpalaezukwu who is also the leader of Anambra Youths Volunteer maintained that Ndigbo is ready to make a loud statement in the next year’s general elections.
He urged the Federal Government to give a fair hearing and consider a political solution to the case against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mr Nnamdi Kanu as well as expedite action to see to the conclusion of the case in due time.
