LAGOS–A Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Delta State Governor, Amb Ochei Kennedy said Wednesday that the need to urgently reposition Nigeria for a better future was the major reason behind his to call to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to contest for the presidency.
In his speech at a Radio programme in Lagos which was monitored by this reporter, Ochei, who doubles as the President of Indomitable Group said President Buhari’s led federal government has failed woefully.
“The APC led Government has failed abysmally to tackle the problems of today, hence they have failed to prepare for the future”
Ochei said the Nigeria is faced with the choice of either maintaining the status quo or make a radical departure from the old ways.
The political aide added that when supported, that governor Okowa’s government will be driven by “youthful energy”.
When supported, Governor Okowa will re-engineer the country’s infrastructure, reposition the economy and redesign the country’s “security architecture”,he said.
