JUST IN: Atiku emerges PDP Candidate for 2023 Presidential Election

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has won the Presidential Primary Election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Atiku polled a total of 371 votes to defeat Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike who polled a total of 237 votes.

Further breakdown of the results showed that Anyim Pius Anyim polled 14 Votes, Udom Emmanuel 38 votes, Bala Mohammed 20 votes, while Senator Olushola Bukola Saraki polled 70 votes.

Atiku who hails from Adamawa of Northeast Geopolitical Zone will battle with the person that will emerge as the flag bearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
