75 HoR Members OKs Onyejeocha’s Bill to Establish South East Development Commission

The Honorable member representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, and the House of Representatives Deputy Chief Whip, Hon [Bar] Nkeiruka Onyejeocha sponsored a bill to establish South East Development Commission (SEDC) on the 2nd of July, 2020.

The bill to establish the commission in South East has passed and scaled through the first reading on the floor of the house and was supported by 75 house members.

It will be recall that after the Civil War in Nigeria the South Eastern region of the Country has experienced a dastardised infrastructural decay that requires which requires the South East Development Commission to be established in other to get the region on track in term of development.
