Anambra State Police Command Welcomes New CP, Monday Bala Kuryas, FRS

Anambra state Police Command has on 23rd February, 2021, welcomed a new Commissioner of Police (CP), Mr Monday Bala Kuryas to succeed the immediate past CP of the state, Mr John Abang who was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG.

The new CP was warmly welcomed at the state Police Headquarters in Amawbia, by senior Police Officers who came from various Police Area Commands and Divisional Police Stations in the state.

Addressing the top officers of the command, Mr Kuryas who assured that the command under his watch would maintain the tight security network in the state by following the footsteps of his predecessor, asked the officers to give him all the necessary support to enable him actualize the lofty vision he has for the state.

He promised Ndi Anambra of continuous and adequate protection of life and property.
