Aba Bye Election: Victor Oye Has Seen He Has No Electoral Value – AIF Media

Hon Chimaobi Ebisike of PDP has been declared winner of the Aba north & south federal constituency bye election held yesterday.

He defeated the APC and APGA candidates with 10, 322 votes while APC came second with 3, 674 votes. APGA which came distant 3rd with 1, 554 votes.

Aba north & south federal constituency was won APGA in 2019 general election. It was APGA’s stronghold. APGA equally won it in 2015. These were made possible by the strong leadership of Dr Alex Otti.

But the leadership incompetence of Ozo Victor Ike Oye who introduced politics of “ego mbute” through extortion and manipulation cost APGA the Aba federal constituency bye election.

It was even an affront for Oye to attend the campaign rally of the APGA candidate few days ago in Aba. Ozonkpu has the worst record in history as the National Chairman of APGA and going to a campaign became a disaster for the party in Abia.

What will Oye tell Ndi Aba north & south federal constituency after all he did to the party in 2019? The man who became the face of APGA in Abia state and helped the party win major seats at both federal and state legislatures was frustrated out of APGA.

Yes, Dr Alex Otti left APGA because Oye refused to refund and resign after the scandal that followed the 2019 party primaries. Otti was one of the leaders that insisted that Oye must not be rewarded with a second term return after he supervised the worst APGA primaries in history.

He left APGA when the National Leader refused to activate a punitive measure against the former catechist turned politician.

As the stronghold of APGA in Abia state, APGA would have won the bye election if not for the appearance of Oye at the campaign ground which reminded the people of the fraudulent primaries of 2019.

The same thing will happen in Anambra state on November 6 governorship election if Oye appears in any APGA campaigns.
