Anglican Bishop Of Aguata, Ezeofor, Dedicates Diocesan Secretariat, Micro Finance Bank Built By The Diocese

The Anglican Bishop of Aguata Diocese, Right Reverend Samuel Ezeofor today, March 3, 2021, dedicated the Aguata Diocesan Secretariat and Gosife Micro Finance Bank, all located at Ekwulobia, the seat of Aguata Diocese.

The secretariat will create more office accommodation for diocesan workers given that since its inauguration on September 4, 2005, Aguata Diocese has been using a hall at the Cathedral Church of Saint John Ekwulobia as a temporary office.

The new complex has thirty offices, two waiting lounges, a conference hall, chapel, library, studio and offices for the Bishop and his wife.

Bishop Ezeofor, who was enthroned as the Bishop of Aguata Diocese on April 3, 2018, following the retirement of the pioneer bishop, Most Reverend Christian Efobi, also established the Gosife Micro Finance Bank to boost the revenue base of the diocese and also generate employment.

The dedication service was attended by the immediate-past Archbishop of Niger Province and former Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Most Reverend Professor Godwin Okpala, Anglican Bishop of Amichi Diocese, Right Reverend Ephraim Ikeakor, Anglican Bishop of Ihiala Diocese, Right Reverend Israel Okoye, Anglican Bishop of Mbamili Diocese, Right Reverend Obiora Uzochukwu, former Bishop of Isiukwuato/Umunochi Anglican Diocese, Right Reverend Sam Chukuka, as well as other clergymen from within and outside Anambra State.
