The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife has distributed food items to mothers and women organizations of some christian denominations in the state.
Ekwunife facilitated the distribution on Saturday, April 17, 2021, through the PDP LGA women leaders and women coordinators of her campaign organization.
The provision of the items was in line with Senator Ekwunife’s appreciation of the invaluable role mothers play in the society as well as the need to encourage the organized religious women groups in their effort to reach out to the less privileged and the vulnerable in the society.
Disbursing the items for Awka South LGA, the PDP woman leader of the LGA, Mrs. Dora Oguocha who was joined by woman coordinator of the Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization (SUECO), Mrs. Amaka Obi-Obieze were received by the Catholic and Anglican women organizations in the churches visited.
Thrilled by Senator Ekwunife’s outpour of love, the mothers extolled the grassroots friendly Senator for her giant strides in governance. They sang chants of praise in appreciation of the gift items. The visibly excited mothers prayed God to bless the Senator in all her endeavours and embolden her in her quest to serve the people.
