The battle for APGA ticket is now being fiercely fought. It has divided all structures of APGA. But the cabal which has sworn to impose Soludo on the people are not leaving any stone unturned.
They now deploy full threat and intimidation.
The cabal forced the APGA state leadership out of the party secretariat and stopped them from receiving Governorship Aspirants.
They also threatened the Appointees and warned them to stop attending any meetings that’s not for Prof Soludo.
The cabal has just gone further to ensure APGA leaders must support Soludo or face sanction. Unfortunately, those who are weak are following their orders.
This weekend, the chairman of APGA in Dunukofia LGA, Mr Vincent Ezennia popularly known as Sappa Vince succumbed to their blackmail. He was blackmailed into returning the black Toyota Corolla 2007 model gifted to him by Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji .
AIF Media gathered that about a month ago, Hon Umeoji gave out some cars to aid mobility of some APGA leaders especially at this time that they attend meetings in different locations.
Sappa Vince was one of those who was lucky to have gotten a car gift through the magnanimity of the lawmaker who is also a Governorship Aspirant in the Anambra Nov 6th election.
The Dunukofia chairman claimed that he took the decision after extensive consultations with major stakeholders in Dunukofia and beyond. But AIF Media investigation reveals that it was the Aguleri cabal that threatened him and other APGA leaders to return any gift from any APGA Aspirant.
They are also warmed not accept any gifts especially branded campaign vehicles from other APGA aspirants. This is the major reason, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo who bought about 30 Sienna buses decided to share them to his aides and the remaining ones to some APGA ward members in his Ihiala ward.
The cabal has continued to deprive Ndi APGA an opportunity offered by this election season to “zua ahia.” They negotiate only for their pockets while blocking party members from also getting something. While many live in fear, some dared them and allow all aspirants to consult with them.
