The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) felicitates with Senator Annie Okonkwo as he celebrates his 61st birthday today, May 23, 2021.
Ekwunife joins family, friends and well wishers of the former lawmaker who represented Anambra Central Senatorial District between 2007 – 2011 in appreciating God for His blessings upon his life.
Ekwunife recognizes Senator Okonkwo who is popularly known as Agunechemba for his contributions to humanity. She notes that aside the former lawmaker’s strides in politics, he has established himself as a massive employer of labour through his many ventures spanning through oil and gas, telecoms and many other vital sectors of the economy.
The quintessential lawmaker extols the Ojoto born politician for his philanthropy, commitment and service to humanity which have earned him several awards and honours by various communities and organisations both within and outside Nigeria including deserving titles such as Agunechemba Ojoto, Onwa of Oba, Dikedioranma of Aguluzoigbo, Okosisi of Nri, Ojelu Igbo Ozi na Obosi amongst others.
Senator Ekwunife prays God who has so far granted Agunechemba many prosperous and impactful years on earth to keep him in good health as he continues to deploy his experience and knowledge in service to humanity, Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
