With the recent report of the South East region having the lowest number of eligible voters enrollment for the ongoing INEC voter registration, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, has directed that, with effect from Monday, July 12, 2021, every constituent who is of voting age must present an evidence of voter registration before accessing any benefit from the liaison office.
The directive is in line with the Distinguished Senator’s commitment to ensure that the people of the Senatorial District register in their numbers to participate in future elections.
Aware that participation in the electoral process is essential to the development of our democracy, the Senator urges constituents and indeed all Anambrarians who are eligible to vote to take advantage of the process, and visit the INEC office closest to them.
