Ahead of the November 6th Anambra Gubernatorial Election, the BOOT Party Governorship Candidate has called on the people of Anambra State to participate in the ongoing voters registration exercise.
The call was made on Thursday morning via a press release issued by him.
He also called on those who have registered but are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card to ensure they visit their LGA INEC Office to collect it.
Part of the press release reads:
“Please if you have registered for voter’s card and INEC gave you the temporary card, please don’t register again but go to INEC office in your LGA and collect the one in plastic form. Thousands of Anambra voter’s cards are lying waste at INEC offices. And politicians are using it to RIG ELECTIONS. This must stop. That’s why they don’t care if you collect it or not. In the North, their voter’s cards are shared in mosques, markets and churches. In fact they take their cards to their houses but here they dump our own in INEC offices and our traditional rulers and those in government do nothing about it.
“And again, if you know you must not go and vote, don’t go for voter’s card registration. The reason is that if Anambra state registers 2 million voters, and only 500,000 people vote, they will use the remaining figure to manipulate the result. That’s why they refused to pass the bill on electronic transfer of result.
“Very important, if you don’t have Anambra state voter’s card, better change it to Anambra so that you can be part of this project of pushing out this non-performing government.
“Please let’s all youths arise to stop these evils in our government and electoral process.
“Ndi Anambra, please, go and get your voter’s cards now in order for us to take over this government now and fix it by ourselves.”
