The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has flagged – off 2021 National Environmental Sanitation Exercise at Neni Anaocha Council Area.
During the exercise led by the new state Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa , corps members embarked on cutting of grasses on sides of the roads , collection and disposal of waste materials and clearing of drainages.
They also carried out enlightenment and sensitization of traders at Oye market and other people of the area on need to maintain clean and healthy environment.
The exercise attracted some stakeholders in the area including the traditional ruler of Neni , Igwe Damian Ezeani.
