Information coming in has it that plans have been concluded for a heavy protest tomorrow August 17, 2020 at Aguleri.
The protest from a source is being mobilised by Agu Awka against the two traditional rulers from Aguleri who visited the Presidency with 10 other Traditional Rulers from Anambra state.
The 2 traditional rulers are HRH lgwe Alex Edozieuno of Mkpunando Aguleri and HRH lgwe Peter Udorji of Eziagulu-Otu Aguleri that went on courtesy and thank you visit to Presidency for the giant projects president Buhari is doing in Anambra State.
AIF Media gathered that the PG from the governor’s home town and a youth leader who doubles as an SSA will lead the protest tomorrow.
A source told AIF Media that the protesters may shut down the palaces of these two Igwes and insist that the state govt convert their one year suspension to withdrawal of their certificates of recognition.
They will also demand that the two Igwes be banished from Aguleri. It is alleged that Agu Awka will rely on the protests to make pronouncements to that effect as the only reason to restore peace in the town.
