The Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital ultra modern medical and isolation center built and furnished by Anambra Progressives, a group convened by the Senator representing Anambra South and National Leader of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has commenced medical operations. The facility which is located at the permanent site of NAUTH in Nnewi/Oraifite started its medical services on Monday. This was confirmed by the Anambra South Senator who is also the Chief Convener of the Progressives in a short statement personally signed by him.
Announcing the good news, Senator Ubah further said that with the commencement of medical services in the facility, the solid foundation laid by the Progressives for the betterment of Anambra State health sector is now fully consolidated. The Anambra South Senator further revealed that another ultramodern medical and isolation center located at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka which is almost completed shall hopefully be commissioned on Saturday, October 31st, 2020.
Recall that during the launch of the NAUTH facility on 12th September, 2020, the Grand Patron of the Progressives, Dr. Cletus Ibeto, CON, asked the NAUTH management to make a commitment regarding the commencement of medical operation in the facility and responding, the management assured the general public that medical operations shall fully commenced in the facility within a period of one month.
