Social media platform, Facebook, has apologised after a technical glitch at its end flooded users’ feeds with celebrity spam posts.
Users across the globe complained on Wednesday about seeing random posts and stranger’s posts to celebrities’ pages on their timelines.
In a statement released to TechCrunch following the glitch, Facebook said, “We’re aware that some people are having trouble with their Facebook Feed. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience,” a Meta spokesperson told TechCrunch in a statement.
