Fr Mbaka Goes To Monastery, New Priest Assumes Duty As Spiritual Director Of Adoration Ministry

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, AMEN, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, has been placed on mandatory canonical absence and transfer to a monastery.

The transfer to the monastery which is with immediate effect comes just a day after the Adoration Ministry was reopened haven been closed down for three months by the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Callistus Onaga after Fr Mbaka was faulted for breaching the canonical law concerning politics as well as other issues.

Meanwhile, a new priest, Reverend Father Anthony Amadi, has been posted to take charge of the Adoration Ministry in the place of Mbaka.

News of Fr Mbaka’s transfer has elicited mixed actions among some of his followers, with a trending video showing some worshippers revolting against the decision.

There have also been reports of threats to the new priest by some worshippers.
