Njikoka II LP Candidate ILOH Humphrey breaks silence, Appreciate Supporters, congratulates Jude Akpua

Njikoka II Labour Party candidate Hon Humphrey Iloh-Anụnobi has broken his silence on the March 18 Anambra State House of Assembly election won by the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Dr Jude Akpua.

Humphrey ILOH, in a congratulatory message, said that he has accepted the outcome of the election leaving everything in the hands of God Almighty.

The LP candidate congratulated the winner Dr Jude Akpua and charged him to hit the ground immediately with developmental projects in Njikoka 2 constituency; even though a level playing ground was not accorded to him in Dr Akpua’s town Abba as it was accorded to Akpua in the Labour Party’s candidate town Abagana.

He also advised Dr Akpua to always play by the rule and not campaign of calumny and propagation of falsehood against his opponents.

The message reads below:

“THANK YOU, NDI UMUOWELLE

“First and foremost, my mouth is filled with gratitude to God for seeing us through the campaign season. I also want to use this opportunity to that appreciate everyone who supported us in the build-up to the just concluded state assembly election which I was on the ballot as a candidate of the Labour Party, where we campaigned vigorously to represent the good people of Njikoka 2 constituency which comprises of Abagana, Nimo and Abba.

“Having thanked everyone, I want to especially thank the members of my Family, and my Campaign team ably led by my Director General Hon Ayiba Ejike Kenneth, you guys are simply the best, together we toured the nooks and crannies of Umuowelle, preaching the message of hope which was anchored on our mantra of AHEAD AHEAD. Sincerely speaking, I wouldn’t have come this far without your genuine commitment and cooperation which was in line with my zeal and desire to serve my people.

“To the Igwes and President-Generals, thank you so much for your participation even though it was Partisan. I sincerely understand what transpired.

“To Ndi Abagana mụrụm, I want to appreciate you all, we gave it our all in the fight for our rights as it was the turn of ndi Abagana to represent the good people of Umuowelle which made you all stand by me at all cost, indeed, Abagana bu Enyi. The negative/opposing opinions of the few cannot define who we are as people who share the same ideologies and believe firmly in the principle of equity, fairness and justice. There’s an Igbo adage that says “nkpagbu oke na-eji anya”.

“Ndi Abba Ụmụnnem, I say Thank you, I have no iota of doubt that you went into this election with all mercenaries and this has dampened the spirit of brotherhood we share in Umuowelle and it’s capable of dividing us instead of uniting us. It is more worrisome that a level playing ground was not accorded to me in Abba as Abagana accorded to your son in Abagana.

“May I appeal to you as brothers to decrease the type of politics you played in the just concluded state assembly election as it will not be beneficial to you when our brothers from other communities (Abagana and Nimo) learn and decides to follow suit.

“To my dear brothers from Nimo, all I have to say is Thank you all.

“Ndi ỤmụOwelle, I contested the election with not only my opponents but also the institutions of the state and town unions. There are a series of lapses and electoral violations that would have taken me to court to seek redress.

“However, because I contested maka ODIMMA ỤmụOwelle, I will NOT approach the tribunal (today is the last day, hence my delay in this appreciation message) so as allow the winner to hit the ground immediately with developmental projects in our dear constituency. The Almighty God reigns supreme as I have left everything in His hands.

“May I congratulate my good friend, Hon Jude Akpua of the All Progressive Grand Alliance for emerging victorious at the polls, I wish him a robust representation as the people of Umuowelle deserves the very best representation. I want to use this great opportunity to advise him to always play politics by the rule and leave campaigns of calumny and propagation of falsehood against his opponents just because of power as there will always be life after politics.

“In all, I thank the Almighty God for enabling me to have come this far in my quest to represent our people, and to the Obidient family in Umuowelle, you guys were my driving force. Daaaalunu ri nne…

“God bless the good people of Umuowelle!

Thank You!

Thank You!!

Thank You!!!

“Hon Humphrey Iloh-Anụnobi (Eselu Njikoka)
Ozo Ejiamatu Abagana
Labour Party Candidate for Njikoka 2 Constituency.”
