The Director of Strategic Communications of the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council, Chief Dele Momodu, has called on Nigerians to remember Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State in their prayers, saying that the outgoing governor is possessed by the demon of anger.
In a post made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, Momodu described Wike as a hardworking man who has been inconsolable since losing the PDP Presidential Primary election nearly one year ago.
“As his big brother who loves him so much, I will continue to offer him prayers so that God can deliver him fully from this demon of anger,” he said.
Momodu noted that Wike is a control freak who expects everyone to bow and tremble before him, adding that the governor lost his own election since last year and is yet to recover.
He also criticized Wike for gloating that Atiku Abubakar lost the election, saying that only cowards mock the “dead” in battle. Momodu further accused Wike of oppressing his hapless and seemingly helpless victims in Rivers State.
According to Momodu, Wike will know life better after May 29, 2023, no matter what position he occupies thereafter. “No one would ever trust him,” he said, adding that the outgoing governor may become the first Governor Emeritus to live in the Government House with the new governor or move the governor into his own guest chalet for the sole purpose of signing documents.
“It is the way the cookie crumbles. What a sad end to a brilliant career!! Very unfortunate,” he concluded.
