Yesterday, Monday, January 19, 2026; I, Dr. Frank Igbojindu, PhD, paid all cash rewards for the 2025 BBC Anambra Quiz winners amounting to over ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira).
The payment was made through the Best Brain Contest of Akpoazaa Group, covering students, teachers, and schools that emerged winners in Mathematics and Igbo Language categories.
The 2025 BBC Anambra Maths & Igbo Quiz (5th Edition) for Senior Secondary Schools was held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the ASUBEB Hall, Awka.
Top Student Winners:
• Obieze Chikaima (Unizik High School, Awka) — ₦100,000, trophy, medal & BBC Ambassador (Mathematics)
• Ndubuilo Rosemary (Loretto Special Science School, Adazinnukwu) — ₦100,000, trophy, medal & BBC Ambassador (Igbo)
2nd and 3rd positions in both categories received ₦60,000 and ₦40,000 respectively.
School Winners (Automatic by Student Performance):
• Unizik High School, Awka — ₦100,000 & Trophy (Best in Mathematics)
• Loretto Special Science School, Adazinnukwu — ₦100,000 & Trophy (Best in Igbo)
Teacher Winners:
• Igboanugo Amaka — ₦50,000 (Mathematics)
• Okonkwo Felicia — ₦50,000 (Igbo)
Other teachers received ₦30,000 and ₦20,000 respectively.
