The Federal Govt through the Nigeria Police has arraigned Dr Barr Obinna Uzo and Barr Eziafa Samuel before the federal high court Abuja.
They are standing trial before Justice Okon Abang in charge sheet No FHC/Abj/CR/78/2020. They were arraigned on a six Count Charge of conspiracy and forgery of Court judgement of the FCT High Court Buwari, Abuja.
Dr Obinna Uzo was arrested on June 29 and kept in police custody. His arrest came after he was declared wanted by the police for falsifying court documents in a purported judgement in which he forged to remove senator Ifeanyi Ubah from Senate.
He has been in the hiding when investigation showed that the judgement he was parading was fake. Yesterday, he tendered an apology to Senator Dr Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah for the embarrassment the fake judgement caused him. The apology was reported by some national dailies including AIF Media.
AIF Media is monitoring the situation as his trial for criminal offence begins at the federal high court Abuja before Justice Okon Abang. The case is between FG and Dr Uzo. His action was a huge embarrassment to the Nigeria judiciary.
