Anambra State Reclaims Land Slated For Judges Quarters, Onitsha

Anambra state government has reclaimed government land slated for construction of Judge’s quarters in Onitsha.

The quarters are located behind Anambra state Governor’s Lodge, GRA, Onitsha.

Officials of the Physical Planning Board led a joint task force and pulled down perimeter wall illegally erected on Judge’s Quarters in Onitsha.

Executive Chairman of Anambra State Physical Planning Board, Barrister Chike Maduekwe, piloted the enforcement movement.

This is the third time the joint task force is embarking on such visit.

The action is coming after several correspondence to the illegal developers to present proof of allocation, which fell on dead ears.

General Manager of the Board, Mr. Nwabufo Anene, TC Chairman Onitaha North Council Area, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, Senior Special Assitant to Governor Obiano on Lands and Physical Planning, Mrs. Joy Nneli, among others participated in the exercise.
