By Tony Ezike
It has come to the notice of the Official Social Media Channel of Anambra State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party that the outgoing Willie Obiano led All Progressives Grand Alliance administration has decided to sell off virtually all property belonging to the good people of Anambra State at the twilight of the jamboree government.
To this end, the State Media DG of the party Hon Tony Ezike has declared such intentions and whatever resolutions the outgoing cabal must have reached as null, void and of no effect to the extent of it’s anticipated negative effects and outright rejection by genuine citizens of Anambra State. Hon Ezike noted that any of such properties so traded for whatever reason shall be recovered soon after the polls whereby Anambrarians are expected to call the bluff of this show of oppressive rule.
Below is the list of the state properties already advertised and those awaiting advertisement by the government of jamboree, probably to bankroll their selected stooge for the forthcoming gubernatorial election:
- Plot No 6, Ogbolu str, GRA Enugu. 3470.236sqm with a detached colonial bungalow, a mini warehouse and a boys quarter.
- Plot No 30/32, Abakaliki road, GRA Enugu. 7348.168sqm with 4 detached houses, bungalows and ancillary structure.
- Plot no 14 Charles str, GRA Enugu. 8684.395sqm with detached house, 3 bungalows, warehouse and ancillary structure.
- Plot 650 (m23) Independence Layout, Enugu. Not scaled, available for guided inspection.
- Plot No 3, Independence Layout Enugu. 29875.679 sqm. It has 2 Nos two storey office block, 6 Nos single office block, and ancillary structure.
Others are the Onitsha Shopping Mall and ultramodern commissioners quarters at GRA Awka.
Sincerely, the easiest way to uncover self-centered individuals is their inability to talk when they should, and their stupidity to open up when they should ordinarily shut up. The body language of APGA leaders, promoters, political aspirants and members at this perilous times whereby our people now play their bellies in place of the talking drum (living without life enablers while we have a governor) is very shameful and something to be deeply worried about.
This valedictory auctioning of Anambra State property to relatives, friends and well wishers can never stand, and in the event that government persists on account of executive powers, the incoming administration must reverse it with all legal means possible because this is a clear case of forceful dispossession, without the slightest plan or evidence of intent to invest expected funds.
In conclusion, it is imperative to note that the rickety vehicle “APGA” and her reckless drivers deserve to be escorted towards the nearest border community and bid farewell during the polls. Reelecting anyone whosoever on the platform of APGA this time will spell doom for the citizens and the next generation of Anambrarians.
