The Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has reassured Imo People of their safety and the state Government’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic that has resurged all over the world, Imo State not exempted.

The Governor while fielding questions from Journalist, in Owerri the state capital stated that the Imo state Covid-19 task force is working round the clock to ensure the safety of Ndi-Imo.

He also explained that He will soon receive a report from the committee on the situation of the pandemic in the state vis-a-vis the reopening of schools which has been slated for the 25th of January 2021.

He says he will review the report and make a final decision as the safety of the lives and properties of Imo people, especially the children is paramount.
