Essential Ndubuisi
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), today Wednesday, January 27, 2021, joined friends, family and other dignitaries to pay last respects to late Chief Julius Chukwuma Akpokwe.
The funeral mass which held at St. Vincent Catholic Church Nimo, Njikoka LGA had in attendance Chief Emmanuel Okwudili Ndubuisi. Chief Ndubuisi is the President General of Nimo.
The late Chief Akpokwe until his passage was the husband of Mrs. Esther Akpokwe.
While condoling with the family, Ekwunife expressed sadness over the death of late Chief Akpokwe, describing his demise as shocking. She said that the late husband of Mrs. Esther Akpokwe lived a good life and enjoined the family not to depart from the virtues he was known for.
“We are here to pay last respects to late Chief Akpokwe who had journeyed to rest on the side of his maker. We take great solace in the fact that we will meet in the resurrection morning and never to part again”
The Senator, however, prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss. “May his soul find rest” she prayed.
