The Commissioner for Transport, Enugu state, Chief Mathias Ekweremadu is dead.
He was reportedly died at the Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu.
The Commissioner was said to have slumped at the State House of Assembly Complex where he went for an official engagement.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.
The late Commissioner for Transport, Chief Mathias Ekweremadu was the elder brother to Senator Ike Ekweremadu., Ikeoha Ndigbo.
He was a member of the State House of Assembly where he represented Aninri state Constituency. He was also Chairman of Aninri local government on different occasions.
