Anambra State Taskforce On Covid-19 Warns Ndi Anambra Against Disobeying Safety Guidelines Or Risk Being Prosecuted By Mobile Court

Anambra State taskforce team are currently on awareness drive within Awka and environs, warning residents against breaching the safety guildlines in preventing COVID-19, such as compulsory wearing of face mask, social distancing, provision of hand washing materials at public places for hand washing amongst other measures.

According to members of the taskforce team, a mobile court will be set up by Thursday 11th of February for trial of those who violates the safety measures against COVID-19, as they risk months in jail, community service and other stringent measures geared towards preventing the second wave of the virus from having dare consequence on the state.

It will be recalled that the state government has reactivated a lot of measures in checking the second wave of the virus, affecting different parts of the world, including putting a curfew in place, running from 9pm to 6am and series of other measures spearheaded by the state ministry of health led by Dr. Vincent Okpala.

Nkwo Amaenyi through to Eke Awka by Zik’s Avenue, Amawbia through to UNIZIK Temporary Site by expressway including Club Road are some of the places visited by the Taskforce Team with a warning for people to be obedient to avoid the long arm of the law.
