Senator Andy Ubah was at Awka yesterday where he met with his supporters. Addressing them, the former aide to President Obasanjo boasted that if given APC ticket, that he would win the November 6 Governorship poll with easy.
He said he will repeat the 2007 magic. “2007 campaign will be a child’s play, if you give me your ticket.
“I will replicate the amazing campaigns of 2007 election in the 326 wards and 21 Local Government Areas of the state which gave me overwhelming victory during the election. “

When Andy refers to 2007 Anambra state governorship election, he is only reminding us how he merged the governor before the Supreme court sacked him after 14 days in office and returned Mr Peter Obi.
Even though he referenced his campaigns in 2007 and claimed that he went to all the towns and dusty villages to campaign, we all know how he won the election – Gov Hope Uzodimma described such approach of winning election as Ben Johnson Way.
This is 2021 and not 2007. Just last year when there was a shut down, and people were in hunger, Andy Ubah was not seen anywhere and no palliative was given to these same people he wants to take his campaigns to.
I still don’t know how he wil make the election a walk-over, except he wants to adopt the same Ben Johnson Way.
Anambra is not Imo and 2007 is not 2021.
