Officials of Anambra State Physical Planning Board have removed a building at Emmanuel Street Nkpor/Obosi, Idemili North Council Area, blocking access roads.
The enforcement exercise is part of the board’s mandate of ensuring controlled development across the state.
The developer illegally started erection of a building project which was gathered to be a four storey commercial residential building.
The street links that were blocked as a result of the illegal project are Ikenwilo street and JoeDon Mall Road, which had remained so until recently when some well known individuals from Obosi sold the portion to the developer.
The board’s officials had visited the site and issued warning to the developer to remove the structure which fell ok deaf ears.
