A joke taken too far as members of AAC allegedly suspends Anambra APC Caretaker Chairman, Basil Ejidike

Uche Okonkwo-Okom, Nestor Okoro are members of AAC and have no locus in APC whatsoever.

APGA paid Okonkwo-Okom, Nestor Okoro and others through Okey Chukwuogo to destabilize Sen. Andy Uba’s chances at the Election Petition Tribunal.

The definition of a party man simply threw away all the conspicuous attempts by Hon. Uche Okonkwo-Okom, Nestor Okoro and others who are usurping the membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) instead of knowing fully where they belong to. It is on record that Uche Okonkwo-Okom and Nestor Okoro masterminded the continuous staying of Dr. Chido Nwankwo in APC immediately after the primary election which didn’t go down well with most people.

The duo in their insatiable zeal for riches and for continuous extortion of Dr. Chido Nwankwo relegated him politically into joining AAC in the bid to make sure they drilled him of his last dime and continued deceiving him that he would win the last Gubernatorial Election under AAC. It is not a hidden fact that the duo had long joined AAC projecting their candidate and abandoned the political party that they have both benefited from.

However, who is a party man? A party man is a member or adherent of a political party especially; one characterized in cases of conflicting interests by strong loyalty to the party as an institution and to its principles and policies.

A party man is a loyal member of a political party, especially one who is extremely loyal or devoted to the decisions of the party as against his/her personal interest nor any inordinate ambition whatsoever.

Come to think of the purported Press Conference issued by one Uche Okonkwo-Okom, Nestor Okoro, Okey Chukwuogo and other faceless party betrayers who do not have the locus standi whatsoever or wherever derived to summon a meeting of APC in the bid to suspend the State Chairman Basil Ejidike who has been adjudged to be the best Chairman APC has ever produced put together AC, AD, ACN, ANPP, CPC.

I am not surprised at Uche Okonkwo-Okom and Nestor Okoro’s nakedly conspicuous move to oust the State Chairman simply because they were told that they would be officially expelled indefinitely from the party on the grounds of Anti-party activities which they meted out on the APC Candidate, Distinguished Sen. Dr Andy Uba, MFR in favour AAC.

I am sincerely ashamed of Barr Uche Okonkwo-Okom. I little wonder why he enjoys so much trouble wherever he is and always wanted to be at the head of affairs anywhere, anytime.

You may recall that this same Uche Okonkwo-Okom was the reason why the 2017 Gubernatorial Election Campaign took extra months to commence due to the petition he wrote to the party hierarchy against the emergence of the then APC Gubernatorial Candidate. But eventually he lost the move and sabotaged 2017 election along with his paid masters. His role regarding the impeachment of Gov. Peter Obi is still fresh in our minds.

It is also on record that Uche Okonkwo-Okom benefited from a kangaroo primary election of 2019 general election where he emerged as the House of Representatives Candidate for Orumba North and South Federal Constituency through the help of the then State Chairman Barr. Emeka Ibeh, as against the opinion pool and the choices of Engr. Chidi Orji and Chidi Ogbaji who were very much acceptable by their people, but Okonkwo-Okom enjoyed the heist called primary election and he never questioned the process which enthroned him till date.

You may recall that I, Paschal Candle and few others were the solitary voice in the wilderness seeking for correction through the Media spaces during the said miscarriage of justice called primary election, but our party Leaders including Sen. Dr. Chris Ngige and Dr. George Muoghalu who was then the National Auditor of the party kept mute till date. And the likes of Okonkwo-Okom and Nestor Okoro were calling us names. It was only likes of Engr. Barth Nwibe, and few others that stood tall towards the anomalies.

On the issue of Hon. Nestor Okoro’s integrity, his antecedents in Orumba North while the Council Chairman are still there. Some people should not be taken serious such as his person.

It is also on record that this Nestor Okoro sabotaged the 2017 Governorship Election and made away with almost Three Million Naira (#3,000,000) election money given to his Ward during the said election, believing that the election would be written. Nestor Okoro has not accounted for the money till date.

On the issue of Okey Chukwuogo, he’s Dr. George Muoghalu’s DG in the just concluded election. Since the outcome of the primary election did not favour his principal, he started working with APGA and has been attending all their meetings in respect of the just concluded Anambra State Governorship Election.

Okey Chukwuogo is a paid Agent by APGA government targeted to destabilize the party towards tribunal and weaken the good case of Sen. Dr. Andy Uba MFR at the Anambra State Election Petition Tribunal, if care is not taken. Okey Chukwuogo was seriously induced in millions by APGA government and that is why the likes of Uche Okonkwo-Okom, Nestor Okoro and others are swanking about.

Okey Chukwuogo is a political turncoat who has never won his pooling unit or any elective position in his life due to his high-handedness and irresponsible approach to issues base. He is a known strategist in maintaining confusion in the minds of people and preventing objective analysis everywhere he goes. This was the same thing he did while we were in UNPP 2002/2003 claiming to be contesting for Governorship and he eventually sold out.

Furthermore, I am very much disappointed in the likes of Barr. Uche Okonkwo-Okom, a legal luminary descended so low to be going to people’s houses with the suspended State Publicity Secretary Arc. Okelo Madukife seeking for their signatures including begging the Njikoka LGA Chairman Mr. Chukwudi Okoye who has been suspended months before the election.

These detractors most retrogressive are all known to us prior to now. Ndi Anambra APC are not perturbed in their gimmicks. He, Okonkwo-Okom was shamelessly telling the signatories in Anambra North that the State Secretary Chuma Agufugo would be the Acting State Chairman and will be paying them salary every month. What a deceit most insensitively concocted and orchestrated surreptitiously in the most inordinate manner.

In conclusion, the State Chairman Hon Chief Basil Ejidike is the best Chairman APC has ever had. History and posterity will be fair to him regarding the manner with which he pilots the affairs of Anambra State APC like never seen. Ejidike is a renowned politician with enormous capacity, intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, moral values and foresighted in managing the unbecoming excesses of the so called Anambra party Leaders most selfish and deceptive. And these acclaimed leaders who have never won their Pooling Units since the inception APC till date are all sponsors of this miscarriage and madness going on in Anambra State APC by their Disciples.

I hereby call on the Leadership of our great party APC to be mindful of the gimmicks of these desperados and power mongers who are not members of Anambra APC but paid Agents by APGA, to discountenance their evil ploys and continue to work with the State Chairman Hon. Chief Basil Ejidike who has truly changed the face of APC in Anambra State for good. I also advice all the LG Chairmen they are using to be very wary of them because they will eventually dump you all.

The earlier you know that the APC Constitution does not permit a third term in office the better for you all. Any LG Chairman who has served for two tenures is not eligible to contest for LG Chairman again, rather will be expected to be at the Zonal Level or State Executive Working Committee. So, don’t be deceived.

I am very much optimistic that consequence to the manual voting, over voting, form EC9 error in APGA/Soludo’s Form and the fact that PDP/Val Ozigbo’s first Running Mate was not a Nigerian Citizen nor has he any Voters Card in Nigeria, the Anambra State Election Petition Tribunal will definitely favour the APC Candidate.

I therefore call on the party faithful to support our State Working Committee led by Hon. Chief Basil Ejidike, be law abiding and channel your strengths in prayers that there will be light at the end of the tunnel in the Tribunal and APC will produce a Governor in Anambra State come 2022.
