Abagana Welfare Union Announces Youth Wing, Set to Inaugurate on Monday, February 5

In a recent development directed by the PG, Abagana Welfare Union (AWU) has appointed key members to its Youth Wing, with an inauguration scheduled for Monday, 5th February 2024.

The appointed members are as follows:

(A) Mr. Samuel Nwankwo Kuja – Chairman

(B) Mr. Nnamdi Anierobi – Secretary

(C) Mr. Ugochukwu Nweze – Member

(D) Mr. Achusi Nonso – Member

(E) Mr. NEZIANYA Uchenna – Member

(F) Udem Chidimma – Member

(G) Okeke Ejike – Member

(H) Mr. Okey Anyichie – Member

These appointees will serve the AWU Youth Wing with specific terms of reference, including enforcing discipline in Abagana as directed by the PG, collaborating with the Abagana Vigilante group to protect the territory from criminal activities, and participating in other youthful activities assigned by the PG.

The PG has already submitted the list to the Anambra state government for approval. The Caretaker Committee, led by legal adviser Bar Peter Ozobialu Ezeugo, will work in collaboration with the Vigilante group until a general election for the Youth’s Wing is conducted by AWU.
