Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has referred to himself as a “veteran of inconclusive elections” after emerging victorious in the recent governorship election.
He made the statement while addressing journalists in Abuja, shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Fintiri won the election with 430,861 votes, as announced by the Returning Officer for the state, Professor Mohammed Mele.
Fintiri stated that he had learned a lot from the experience of inconclusive elections and that it was normal, but he knows that he won the election.
