Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on the Federal Government to release its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, from detention in the Department of State Services (DSS) custody on medical grounds.
The group stated that Kanu’s health has deteriorated due to the torturous solitary confinement in DSS custody.
IPOB demanded that Kanu be released immediately and unconditionally to enable him to access proper medical treatment from his personal doctors and specialists.
The group also warned against any harm to Kanu and urged the government to obey court orders regarding his release.
