The extortion has started. But this time whoever that falls a victim should blame himself. AIF Media will not join you to shout “Refund and Resign”, again.

In 2019, many APGA aspirants were duped. Some were extorted while others were outrightly rubbed. In Imo state for example, about 19 persons purchased the APGA nomination forms to contest the 2019 governorship election in the state.

All the aspirants were individually promised guber ticket and smartly extorted. On the day of primaries, there was no primary election anywhere in Imo state. They came back to Awka and announced the highest bidder as the candidate of the party.

We started protesting on their behalf when they cried to us. Chief Victor Umeh, Mbuze Agulu, Owelle Mbaso, Tyndale Okoli etc were prominent in that struggle asking the ekperimas to “refund and resign.”

But the National Leader whom Victor Umeh enlisted into the struggle to get the national chairman out for allowing the party get into such isembarrassing mess relented and rewarded Ozonkpu with another term in office.

However, the extortion has started again as Anambra state governorship election draws nearer. Presently, APGA has about 9 persons who have indicated interest to contest the November 6 governorship election.

The extortionists have started again. They first identified with the Isuofia man. They gave him all the hopes of awarding the party ticket to him without primaries. They promised to return him unopposed and suddenly they began to think “Smart.”

The Nnewi CEO was ready to pay their bills and the whole ndi ‘mbem’ relocated to Nkwo Nnewi. Nwa nne ya na ere akara became the topic in town.

Gentlemen, the milking is now going round. They have just landed at the home of another aspirant from Old Aguata. We won’t mention his name now. But the extortion is again going round.

This time, if they extort you after the 2019 experience, “na u dash them moni.”
