Alleged Defamation: Soso Soberekon Sues Harrysong, Demands N500m

Music executive Soso Soberekon has sued singer Harrysong for alleged libel over claims the talent manager sent assassins to eliminate him.

Harrysong made the allegation while speaking on the “Frankly Speaking” podcast co-hosted by comedian, Nedu Wazobia.

The Reggae Blues singer lamented most friendships in the industry were for selfish gains.

Harrysong stated contrary to people’s beliefs Soso Soberekon wasn’t his friend but actually an enemy, alleging he sent ‘people to come and kill him in Port Harcourt’.

Reacting to the allegation, Soberekon demanded that Harrysong retracts the statement and tender an apology.

In a suit filed by his legal representatives, the talent manager also requested the sum of N500 million for damages such claims caused by the libelous publication to his reputation.
