Earlier yesterday 21’6’20, AfaIgboEfuna Orumba North Chapter gained momentum as one of her Stakeholders, Prince Austine Ogonna Ezenekwe – Ezechinyelugo 1 of Oko hosted Oko Ward 1 & 2 in his palatial home.
The American based business mogul who also welcomed the State and Orumba North Local Government Executives narrated his motives for adopting AfaIgboEfuna. “The Founder Senator Ubah is a well known Igbo figure who has help the Igbos both at home and diaspora in so many ways, I will give my full support to him because he is a great son of Igbo land who values brotherhood irrespective of where he finds himself”, he said. Ezechinyelugo recounted divine feats attained by the Senator in the course of fighting for ndị Igbo. He recalled how his intervention at the Chinese Embassy, Lagos ended the intimidations and bullying of the Nigerians (mostly Igbos) in China.
Reacting, the State Coordinator of AfaIgboEfuna Movement, Mr. Mba Mba Iloka who was in the company of some State Executives such as the State Woman Leader, Lady Okonkwo Chinenye, the State Organizing Secretary, Prince Ofobuike Tyndale Okoli-Egbo, the Anambra South Zonal Cordinator, Hon. Emma Ezeokafor and others thanked the Stakeholder for adopting AfaIgboEfuna Movement. Mba Mba assured him that the Movement is pleased to have him as one of the sponsors. He went further to assure him of maximum cooperation from all angle to make sure that the Movement excel not only in Orumba North but, in Old Aguata Union – OAU. Mbamba urged him to also support other Sen. Ubah’s structures ranging from Active Voters Solidarity for Ifeanyi Ubah – AVS, Young Progressives Party – YPP, Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement – IUSM, etc whose various Coordinators were present in the event. He made it known that all the above mentioned structures are working towards same goal.
The Orumba North Local Government, Hon. Okafor Oliver Tambo, other Local Government Cordinators from Old Aguata Union – OAU and Executives of Oko Wards took turns to appreciate Ezechinyelugo for adopting the Movement. They also assured him of smooth compliance.
