As the Independent National Electoral Commission holds a supplementary for Ihiala local government, heavy security operatives were deployed for the exercise.
ABS observed large number of the men of the Nigeria Police Force, the Army, Civil Defense, DSS, among others along the various roads in Ihiala and also at the local government secretariat.
INEC officials as well as the adhoc staffs are currently sorting out and distributing materials for various polling units.
Recall that Anambra November sixth governorship election was inconclusive as election did not take place in Ihiala local government.
As at the time of this report, INEC adhoc staffs and materials are yet to leave the local government’s INEC office to their respective polling units.
