Since Tony Nwoye left APC and defected to the PDP, the APC Anambra state has not recovered.
It was Tony Nwoye that breath vibrancy and made APC Anambra state popular. He defected to APC in 2017 with all his youth structures and made APC Anambra state a party to beat in 2017 governorship election.
He left APC and the party has gone into coma in Anambra state. This is the major reason, APC is lagging behind in this November 6 election despite having about 9 Aspirants in the race.
Tony Nwoye is a political mathematician. He has quietly penetrated PDP delegates and will most likely emerge the candidate of the party on June 26.
His structures are everywhere in the state.
In 2013, no one believes he would pick the PDP ticket against the heavyweights then. But he did it. And the party leaders betrayed and sold out their own flagbearer.
In 2017, against all odds he also took the ticket of APC and again defeated all the giants. Sadly, the stakeholders sold him out but his impact in the election was felt.
Tony is again running under PDP. He is one of the 16 Aspirants. As usual no one has listed him as one of the top contenders.
But from our investigation, he will pull another surprise at PDP’s primaries. He has learnt his lessons from the previous betrayals from his party leaders in the past and am certain that he has made amends.
Tony Nwoye is in this race. Watch out for him.
