Anambra 2021: Umeoji Declares Intention To Contest Under APGA, Promises Continuity

The member representing Aguata Federal Constituency, Honourable Chukwuma Umeoji, today, 23rd February, 2021, declared his intention to contest for Anambra governorship position under the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

Honourable Umeoji, who made the declaration amidst ovation by teeming party faithful, promised to continue the good works of Governor Willie Obiano, if elected Governor of Anambra State.

He described APGA as the most peaceful political party in the nation, calling on its leadership to provide level playing ground for all aspirants, to ensure that a party man is elected to sustain the tempo of development in the State.

In their separate remarks, Anambra State Chairman of APGA, Sir Nobert Obi, Anambra South Deputy Chairman of APGA, Barrister Benneth Ibekwe, Aguata Local Government Chairman of APGA, Honourable Obiora Ezechukwu, represented by Ichie Eugene Ezeobi, as well as Ezinifite Ward One Chairman of APGA, Mr. Chukwudi Nwankwo, described Honourable Umeoji as a Party man, whose contributions to APGA and his Constituency as a former Chairman of Aguata Local Government Area, former and serving member of House of Representatives, are examplary.

Traditional rulers, former and serving Council Chairmen, members of the Anambra State House of Assembly, State, Local Governments and Wards Party Executives, Political appointees from Aguata Local Government Area, were present at the event.
