ANAMBRA 2021: WILLIE OBIANO, OYE & SOLUDO DARE COURT AND INEC

By Emeka Umeaba

The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano and the defunt leadership of APGA led by Mr. Victor Oye, may find themselves legally trapped and defiant to rule of law with the purported Inauguration of APGA Campaign Council for November 6, Gubernatorial ELECTION tomorrow being the 20th Day of August 2021 following the ruling of a court of competent Jurisdiction mandating INEC to maintain status quo with the candidature of Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji KSJI and Prof. Lilian Orogbu as both Governorship Candidate Deputy Governorship Candidate.

The Governor of Anambra State had earlier before now sent out notice through his Secretary to State Government, Prof. Solo Chukwulobe to APGA faithfuls and Government appointees to attend a purported Inauguration of Campaign Council for one Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo who parades self as the factional candidate of APGA and unknown to law, but with the recent ruling of the High Court sitting in Owerri, Imo State which upheld her earlier judgement of July 28, mandating INEC to only recognise and deal with High Chief Jude Okeke as the Acting National Chairman of APGA and Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji the duly Nominated Candidate of the party for November poll, Willie Obiano and the defunt Oye leadership may be challenging the rule of law should they go ahead with the purported Inauguration.

A man of Obiano Calibre and repute shouldn’t be fingered as proving defiant to subsisting court Judgements and orders, it will disastrous for a man who have been a great beneficiary of the courtrooms; an embodiment of the rule of law to disdainfuly flout same laws and order because they did not necessarily favour him or his choice aspirant.

We must do everything within our powers to sustain, perverse and respect our hard earned rule of law, Willie Obiano should not because of transient immunity, Aide in inviting anarchy and disregard to RULE OF LAW.

He must forthwith, exonerate self from the purported Inauguration of Soludo Campaign Council on behalf of All Progressives Grand Alliance party (APGA) and rather hearken to subsisting Judgement and Orders from Court of competent jurisdiction to avoid giving room for anarchy and brazen disregard to rule of law.
