Arising from Anambra State Caucus Meeting of the APC held on the 10th December 2021 at Senator Andy Uba’s Office in Abuja.
The Leaders/Stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC) Anambra State held a meeting 48 hours ago at the office of the Governorship Candidate of the APC in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election in Anambra.
The meeting which agenda was predicated on the premise of charting a new course for Anambra APC, as well as critical evaluations/analyses of the November 6th Gubernatorial Election.
The Caucus meeting according to the APC Constitution comprises the present and former Governors, Deputy Governors, present and former Senators, present and former House of Representatives and former principal officers of the State of Assembly, present serving members of the National Assembly, members of the National Working Committee and State Working Committee of Anambra APC.
And in line with Section 12:9 (xviii) of the APC Constitution 2014 (As Amended), which requires the admittance of two other leaders per senatorial zone to join the State Caucus, the following, Barr. CeeJay Chinwuba and Dr. Victor Obimma, Anambra North; Chief Dozie Ikedife Jnr and Hon. Chidi Ogbaji, Anambra South; and Hon. Dennis Ngene and Chief Chibuzor Obiakor from Anambra Central were also in attendance.
The meeting had in attendance the Anambra APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Andy Uba MFR, Deputy Governorship Candidate Barr. Emeka Okafor, National Chairman of the APC who was represented by the National Organizing Secretary, Caretaker Chairman of Anambra APC, Chief Basil Ejidike, Senator Stella Oduah represented by Senator Ikechukwu Obiora, Senator Emmanuel Anosike, H.E. Amb Jerry Ugokwe, Hon Barr. Rep. Lynda Ikpeazu representing Onitsha North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Rep. Vin Ofumelu representing Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Hon. Rep. Nze Duru, Hon Rep. Ralph Okeke, Hon. Rep. Forte Dike, Sen Margery Chuba-Okadigbo represented by Hon Rep. Chiedu Eluemuno, Hon Rep. Chuma Nzeribe, Hon Rep. Chizor Obidigwe, Hon Rep. Agbakoba, Rt. Hon. Ben Chuks Nwosu, Hon. Humphrey Nsofor, former Deputy Governorship Candidate of APC in 2017 Chief Dozie Ikedife Jr, former Minister for Transportation Hon. Prince John Emeka, South-East Zonal Youth Leader Hon. Olisaemeka Onyeka, Hon Paul Chukwuma (immediate past National Auditor of the Party), Hon. Barr. Ebele Obi, former Speaker Rt. Hon Chinwe Nwaebili; Six (6) serving members of the State Assembly- Hon Smart Okafor, Hon Carter Dike, Hon Law Ezeudu, Hon Osite Egbuna, Hon Obimma and Hon Nwokoye; fourteen (14) members out of 17 members of the State Working Committee and a host of others.

Resolutions include
*1) The event’s high point was a reaffirmation and vote of confidence passed on the present Caretaker Committee members led by Hon Chief Basil Ejidike.
*2) The Caucus upheld the Constitution of the party which recognizes Senator Dr Andy Uba as the new leader of APC Anambra State, which was eminently the high point of the Caucus meeting.
*3) The Caucus endorsed/ratified the suspension of the former Secretary of APC Anambra Chukwuma Agufugo and that of the former Publicity Secretary Okelo Madukife.
*4) The Caucus adopted the Disciplinary Committee set up by the State Working Committee.
*5) The Caucus also adopted the Congress Awareness/Sensitization Committee set up by the State Working Committee.
