Anambra Governor, Professor Soludo, Urges Citizens to Embrace Love and Peace During Easter Celebrations

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has called on citizens of the state and Nigerians in general to use the Easter period to show love and affection towards one another.

In a statement released by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Governor Soludo emphasized the significance of the Easter celebration as a time for self-reflection and a renewed commitment to building a better society based on love, tolerance, forgiveness, peace, and unity.

He also highlighted the importance of the Easter event in Christendom, noting that Christ’s death and resurrection offered redemption and strengthened the faith of believers in everlasting life.

While acknowledging that Easter is a season of discipline and sacrifice, the Governor urged the people to celebrate with modesty and to remember the less privileged in their communities.

Governor Soludo encouraged the people to embrace the virtues of forbearance, forgiveness, kindness, humility, love, peace, and patience, which Jesus Christ demonstrated by offering himself for crucifixion.

He further urged the people to spread love and joy not only during the Easter period but also beyond. He also solicited the support of Ndi Anambra towards actualizing the lofty vision of building a livable and prosperous homeland for all.

In conclusion, Governor Soludo wished everyone a happy Easter on behalf of his family and the Government of Anambra State.
