In what was her third LGA visit for the day, the leading governorship aspirant for the November 6 election, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, visited the Onitsha North party secretariat to seek the support of party delegates ahead of the June 26 party primary.
Speaking during the meeting which had in attendance, party executives at the local government and wards led by the LGA chairman, Hon Chucks Onyeizugbe, Ekwunife highlighted the need for the party to present a candidate whose records are traceable and verifiable. She noted that her government will bring unprecedented development that will provide the commensurate infrastructure that will serve the people and businesses in Onitsha North and South, assuring that as governor she will lead with fairness and the fear of God.
