Anambra Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Unveils Library And Cyber Cafe

Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, on Monday January 25th, 2021,at Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, Awka, unveiled a newly equipped Library and Cyber Cafe in the ministry.

According to Lady Mezue, “The facilities are for the use of the ministry’s staff to help improve efficiency and capacity building. We operate in a knowledge economy in today’s world. We want to give our people the opportunity to gain further knowledge by making books and the internet readily available to them”.

Continuing, Lady Mezue appreciated Governor Willie Obiano, and his wife, Dr. Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, founder of the non-governmental organisation (NGO), Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), for their support to the ministry which has enabled it to execute the cyber cafe and library project.

“Governor Obiano and his wife, Osodieme are our biggest supporters. With their continued support, we will do more for Ndi Anambra, and also for our staff, who have shown strong commitment to helping the Obiano administration finish strongly”, Lady Mezue concluded.
