Anambra PDP faces another embarrassment

INEC Anambra state has written to the headquarters of the electoral commission at Abuja informing the national chairman of INEC that there was no state ward congresses in Anambra state on April 30, 2022.

According to the letter obtained by AIF Media, the Resident Electoral Commissioner Anambra state, Dr Nwachukwu Orji said he deployed his men to the wards on the scheduled date for the ward congresses but that the Ward Congress Electoral Committee failed to show up.

He stated that when the committee showed up at the party Secretariat, the chairman failed to produce the original copies of the result sheet necessitating the postponement of the ward congress election.
