Anambra PDP Loses Chieftain To Labour Party

 

A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Awka, Anambra State, Barr. Nnamdi Raphael Anagor (Mkpakala-Dike Awka), on Saturday, defected to the LABOUR PARTY (LP), declaring support for all LABOUR PARTY’s Candidates.

Barr. Anagor and his supporters were received by Awka-South Local Government Executives of LABOUR PARTY in the presence Senator Dr. Victor Umeh (LP Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central), Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu (LP House of Representatives Candidate for Awka North and South) and Hon. Henry Mbachu (LP Anambra State House of Assembly Candidate for Awka South I).

Senator Umeh congratulated Barr. Anagor and his supporters and assured them that LP is the democratic platform Nigerians are yearning for because of its Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi.

He assured that with the mass registrations being recorded daily in the country, they are going to spring positive surprises during the general elections next year.

The event which took place at Ndichie Hall, Umudioka Awka; was chaired by Chief Celestine Okoye (Uzuakpundu Awka), a retired Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police.
