The Anambra State Police Command achieved a significant victory in its fight against criminal activities as they successfully uncovered an armed syndicate targeting Dangote trailers plying the highways in the state. Three suspects were arrested during a well-coordinated operation following a vital tip-off received by the police.
In a swift response to the intelligence received, police officers stormed the hideout of the syndicate located in Nnokwa, catching the suspects in the act of vandalizing two trailers. The prompt action of the police led to the arrest of the three culprits, preventing further damage to the valuable assets.
One of the vandalized trailer heads was recovered during the operation, providing critical evidence for the investigation. However, the whereabouts of the other stolen trailer are yet to be ascertained, and authorities are conducting intensive efforts to track it down.
The suspects are currently in police custody and will undergo rigorous interrogation to extract relevant information about their criminal activities and any potential accomplices involved in this illicit scheme.
