Anambra State Government Administers Covid-19 Vaccine To Traditional Rulers

Officials from the State ministry of health today, Tuesday, 23rd March, 2021 administred the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine to traditional rulers in Anambra state.

Speaking shortly after receiving the vaccine, the traditional ruler of Umuoba Anam, Anambra East Local Government Area, Igwe George Ekwealor described the exercise as timely and life-saving.

Igwe Ekwealor commended the Anambra state government for the ongoing vaccination in the State, urging residents of Anambra state to utilize the exercise and get vaccinated.

For the traditional ruler of Umuawulu, Awka South Council Area, Igwe Joel Egwuonwu, people should get vaccinated as it is free and safe and praised the Willie Obiano administration for being responsive in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
